The Borden Construction Company is owned and operated by John Borden and proudly works out of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.  John holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Maryland and is currently enrolled in Drexel University Evening Architecture Program pursuing a degree and license in architecture.  We service Chester County, the Main Line, Northern Delaware, Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

History

The original Borden Construction Company was incorporated by John's great-grandfather, Leon Borden, Sr. in 1934 in Johnson City, NY.  Many of the buildings designed and constructed in the 30s in the Johnson City and Binghamton, NY areas, including schools, churches and office buildings, are still around and in use today.  Leon's father, John Borden, was also a well-known carpenter at the turn of the century.  This legacy provides inspiration for all aspects of this company.
